FDMX supports companies, students, new entrants and people working in film, TV and digital media in a number of different ways.

Screenings and masterclasses:
We screen films with masterclasses at our universities. Past speakers have included Terry Gilliam and Menhaj Huda. 

Industry seminars:
We partner industry organisations to run seminars at events and film festivals, such the Cannes International Film Festival, the International Animation Festival in Norwich and the Cambridge Film Festival.

Talent development:
We support industry schemes that help new entrants, including the Media Guardian Edinburgh TV Festival’s TVYP.  We also flag up jobs and opportunities on our website.

Skills development:
Students from FDMX partner institutes have benefited from free or subsidised training in creative and technical skills, including Final Cut Pro, Manga, Games design, Intellectual Property and Core Skills in Film.
